The 120,000 feet Jump-Out

The Red Bull Stratos, the 120,000 feet skydive from the edge of space, transcended human limits. An equally daunting challenge was bringing this awe-inspiring feat to a live audience of 8,000,000 via web stream.

World-recognised pioneers in the field of real-time networks for video and audio, RIEDEL provided the entire communications solution for this outstanding project. This included the fibre-based video and signal distribution of wireless video links which enabled the stunning pictures delivered from the Red Bull Stratos capsule.
